Dr. Miki (Attorney-at-law and tax law scholar) taught at Ritsumeikan University and other universities, then served as Dean of the Law School and President of Aoyama Gakuin University (until 2019) , and joining Yamamoto Law & Accounting Office. He was involved in the 2011 amendment of the Act on General Rules for National Taxes as an expert member of the Government Tax Commission, and is known for his significant contributions to the amendment of the Act, including the articles regarding advance notice of tax investigations, the documentation of reasons to assessment actions, and the five-year validity period for taxpayer‘s claim right.
